VRAČEVGAJ LAKE – Bela Crkva

VRAČEVGAJ LAKE – Bela Crkva

Vračevgaj Lake is surrounded by spacious, level terraces suitable for the development of tourism and hospitality facilities.

The lake is located approximately 200 metres from City Lake, on the right-hand side of the regional road connecting Bela Crkva and Kovin.

Covering an area of approximately 15 hectares, the lake is accessible from all sides and is encircled by deciduous woodland typical of aquatic environments. The shoreline running parallel to the road extends for 800 metres, while the width of the lake varies between 20 and 150 metres, giving it a distinctly elongated shape.

The average depth of the lake is around 2 metres, with the deepest point, approximately 3.5 metres, located in its southern section.

Although much of the shoreline is marshy, the terrain also features a 500–550 metre-long pebly beach and expansive grassy areas, providing excellent conditions for the development of recreational facilities.

A first-category campsite is located on the lake’s southwestern shore.

The bathing area includes two well-maintained beaches – Ostrvo Beach and Beach Bar Boss.

During the bathing season, visitor safety is ensured by a professional lifeguard service.
