“ĐURA JAKŠIĆ” PUBLIC LIBRARY – Srpska Crnja
The municipal cultural institution, the Public Library “Đura Jakšić”, was founded in 1964. The central library is located in Srpska Crnja and has a total collection of 33,000 books, of which 17,000 are in Srpska Crnja, while its branches in Aleksandrovo hold 8,000, in Vojvoda Stepa 4,000, and in Radojevo 4,000.
The library is engaged in library services, as well as the organization of literary meetings, exhibitions, and the cultural manifestation “Days of Đura Jakšić”, which has been held regularly in Srpska Crnja since 1962.
