CANALS “DTD” – Vrbas

Channel DTD runs through the municipality of Vrbas, a distance of 39 km, and the area around it offers an ideal place for a trip, camping, recreation. The sites to be particularly emphasized by fishermen and nature lovers are Šlajz in Kucura, Triangle in Savino Selo and part of the old channel of Savino Selo to Ruski Krstur, a distance of 17 km. Precisely on this section of the Old channels are fully preserved all the established forms of the normal flora, plant and animal world, and therefore this section considers the Old Channel imaginary space for anglers and nature lovers. It is known that in this section of the channal love large specimens of catfish, carp, grass carp, silver carp weighing 13 kg and over 20 kg which is not any special rarity. During the year the banks of the channal DTD filled the sports fishermen who in numerous competitions harder to catch the biggest issue. Significant fishing competitions in the municipality of Vrbas are: Štukijade in Savino Selo Vrbas, Carp cup (hunting carp) in Vrbas, Bas Cup in Vrbas.
