CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY – Kula

CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL COMMUNITY – Kula

The Cultural and Educational Community of the Municipality of Kula was founded on May 9, 1957. It was created and is maintained by individuals and activists from the fields of culture, education, and other organizations, as well as by private individuals, with the goal of making the Community a true cohesive force in the areas of creativity, art, and education.

Members of the Community, as social organizations, participate on a voluntary and interest-based basis. These include cultural organizations in the municipality—such as the Public Library, cultural centers, and cultural-artistic societies—as well as primary and secondary schools, the School of Basic Music Education, and other entities that contribute to the overall cultural offering of the municipality.

The Community also focuses on another highly significant cultural aspect: organizing numerous cultural events. The most notable among these are the Republic Festival of Amateur Theaters of Serbia, the cultural-promotional event *Book Month*, the music festival *Autumn Arrives, My Dear…* (Isidor Isa Bajić Days), the art colony *Lazar Mikulić*, several regional showcases of various forms of cultural-artistic creation, and all municipal festivals.
