FEEDING SITE – Titel

Face to Face with an Eagle

To help provide food for scavenging birds and birds of prey during the winter months, the Titelski Breg Nature Conservation Institution has established a secure, enclosed feeding site on Titelski Breg. The feeding site operates during the winter season, from November to March. During this period, it is monitored by cameras, with a live stream also available.

A specially designed hide has been set up at the feeding site, accommodating up to three people. It is equipped with a chemical toilet, a heating appliance and Stopsol Clear View glass, essential for high-quality photography and filming.

No one can guarantee which species will visit the feeding site or when. Buzzards and magpies are almost certain to appear, ravens may also make an appearance, and white-tailed eagles are highly likely visitors. With a little extra luck, you might even catch a glimpse of the imperial eagle.

If you are passionate about birds, photography and adventure, and have plenty of patience, get in touch and book your session in the hide in advance.
