LACY POTTERY – Čoka

LACY POTTERY – Čoka

Located in the municipality of Čoka, in the Banat region of Serbia, this pottery workshop has been preserving and practising the traditional craft of pottery for over twelve years. From preparing the clay and shaping each piece on the potter’s wheel to painting and decorating the finished products, every item is made by hand, with great care and dedication.

The workshop’s primary aim is to preserve the skills and knowledge passed down by previous generations and to prevent this traditional craft from being forgotten. It also seeks to showcase the beauty and creative possibilities of traditional pottery through unique pieces crafted by skilled hands.

The workshop produces items in a variety of shapes, sizes and styles, tailored to customers’ individual needs and preferences. Every detail, from the form and colour to the decoration and inscriptions, can be customised to meet specific requirements. The range includes both terracotta and glazed pottery, made using a variety of techniques.

Particular emphasis is placed on the creation of bespoke promotional items, decorative pieces and practical household products. These are made to order for businesses, schools and pre-school establishments, hospitality venues, traditional farmsteads, ethno-houses, retail shops and other organisations. Personalised items featuring company logos or other distinctive branding can also be produced.

The workshop also creates pottery for private households, florists and craft shops specialising in souvenirs. Each piece combines traditional craftsmanship, creativity and functionality, with designs adapted to customers’ wishes and requirements.
