“BANATERRA” MANOR HOUSE – Srpska Crnja

“BANATERRA” MANOR HOUSE – Srpska Crnja

Banatera Manor House is a summer castle of the German general Franz Neuhausen, built during the Second World War. It belongs to the youngest generation of castles in Vojvodina.

Thanks to Russian architectural influences, German precision, and the dedication of local builders, the castle was conceived, designed, and constructed to provide its guests with an unforgettable stay in the charms of the beautiful Banat plain, complemented by traditional local gastronomic specialties.

Taking into account the needs of modern life, an authentic setting inspired by its aristocratic past now offers a harmonious blend of tradition and contemporary comfort. The castle has been fully renovated and modernized without losing any of the charm and aristocratic spirit that has been preserved as part of its heritage.

Visits are possible with prior notice to the Tourist Organization of Nova Crnja.

Banatera Manor House is located 125 kilometers northeast of Belgrade and only 100 meters from the EU border, on the road to Timișoara. From Belgrade and Novi Sad, the easiest route is via Zrenjanin toward Srpska Crnja.
