“PESKARA” CITY BEACH – Mužlja

The City Beach and excursion site “Peskara” is one of the most beautiful and most visited places for rest and recreation in Zrenjanin. It is located on the shore of one of three lakes formed after long-term sand excavation. Thanks to its naturally clean water, well-maintained beach, and attractive surroundings, it has for decades been a favorite gathering place for both residents and visitors of the city.

During the summer months, “Peskara” becomes a true destination for enjoying sunbathing, swimming, and various recreational activities. The spacious beach, natural environment, and pleasant atmosphere provide ideal conditions for family outings, socializing with friends, and escaping the city heat.

The swimming season lasts from June 1 to August 31, and the bathing area is open to visitors daily from 08:00 to 20:00. To ensure a safe and pleasant stay at “Peskara,” a lifeguard service operates during beach opening hours, monitoring swimmers’ safety every day, while a security service is present 24 hours a day, overseeing the safety of the entire area.

During the summer, numerous sports, entertainment, and cultural programs are organized at “Peskara,” further enriching the site’s offerings. Visitors also have access to hospitality facilities where they can refresh themselves and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
