“Štuka” Riverside Restaurant is a bungalow belonging to the Sombor Sports Anglers’ Association, situated near the village of Kupusina, close to Apatin. It is an ideal destination for anyone wishing to enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, with the added benefits of overnight accommodation, facilities for preparing their own meals, and the opportunity to enjoy coffee brewed the traditional way in small džezvas (Turkish coffee pots).

The riverside retreat is located on a former branch of the Danube, on a stretch of still water, in the shade of oak, ash and poplar trees, near the village of Kupusina and not far from Apatin. One of its distinctive features is that the final part of the journey must be made on foot through the forest, unless travelling by bicycle or motorbike.

“Štuka” Riverside Restaurant comprises two buildings and several ancillary structures. Its most notable feature is a covered shelter equipped with fire pits for cooking in traditional cauldrons, barbecue facilities and a large metal disc used for outdoor cooking. The two buildings provide a total of 24 beds. Boats can be hired for a day at a nominal charge. They are not fitted with engines; instead, oars are used to preserve the tranquillity of this remarkable natural setting.
