The Church of St. Stjepan the King (Ištvan) in Sombor is cathedral church nearby the rectory. It was built from 1860. to 1901., and was sanctified in 1902. It`s organs, when they were built, in 1926., were the third, when the size was considered, in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. The monastery Karmelićan was built in 1905., by the south part of the church in roman style.
It is also known as the Karmelićan church.
