BAJA CANAL – Bački Breg

The canal is flowing near Bački Breg, Kolut all the way to Bezdan, where it flows into the Great Bačka Canal. The coasts are mostly covered with bulrush, while the coastal parts are covered with water lilies that provide shelter for nearly all species of fish. The most famous fishing grounds are “Šira” near Bezdan, as well as the surrounding near Bački Breg. Many people come here to fish for pike, catfish, perch, carp and capital specimens of bass.
