THE HUNTING GROUND OF FRUSKA GORA NATIONAL PARK – Novi Sad

National park “Fruška Gora” is declared in 1960. on a territory of Srem, on a complete surface of 25.525 ha and covers the mountain of the same name and her slopes ( with the vegetation, settlements, communications, water and other on that surface).

This hunting ground is owned by National park of “Fruška Gora” which covers the territories of: Šid, Bačka Palanka, Beočin, the city of Novi Sad, Sremski Karlovci, Irig and Sremska Mitrovica on a full surface of 22.420 ha, and under the fence is 1.430 ha ( hunting ground “Vorovo”).

In enclosed part of the hunting ground most of them are covered with forest, which is about 1.290 ha and remained part is under meadows, pastures and wooded parts.

Animals you can hunt: wild boar, fallow deer and musk ox.

There is a possibility for tourists to stay in a hunting lodge on a hunting revir  Vorovo and in catering facilities on Fruška Gora and in a nearby settled places.
