GALLERY OF THE INSTITUTE FOR THE CULTURE OF VOJVODINA SLOVAKS – Novi Sad

The Gallery of the Institute for the Culture of Vojvodina Slovaks is located at Trifković Square in Novi Sad (entrance from Njegoševa Street No. 16/II/7). It is primarily intended for exhibitions of Slovak academic painters, sculptors, renowned naïve artists, and other creators. However, it is also often involved in city and regional events, such as the Night of Museums, the Danube Dialogues exhibition, and similar programs.

The gallery’s permanent collection features portraits of historically significant figures from the cultural heritage of Vojvodina Slovaks, created by Pavel Pop and Pavel Čanjí. Every year, at the beginning of August, an exhibition of works by prominent Slovak artists is opened within the framework of the Slovak National Festivities.

In addition to exhibitions, the gallery hosts literary evenings, musicology conferences, seminars, performances, creative workshops, and other events. These activities align with the mission of the Institute for the Culture of Vojvodina Slovaks, a professional cultural institution established in 2008 to preserve, promote, and develop the culture of Slovaks living in Serbia.
