City Lake covers an area of approximately 18 hectares along the left side of the road leading to Kovin, on the western outskirts of Bela Crkva. Its shoreline forms an irregular square with an elongated bay, extending for a total length of 2,650 metres.

On the northern side of the lake, there is a concrete embankment with a gentle slope into deeper water, above which stands the “Jezero” Restaurant. This section of the shoreline is 508 metres long and 250 metres wide. Continuing for approximately 300 metres, visitors will find bungalows offering accommodation with a total capacity of 66 beds.

The lake has an average depth of 3 metres, while its maximum depth during periods of high water does not exceed 6.5 metres.

On the southeastern side of the lake lies an approximately 80-metre-long pebble beach, which is particularly popular due to its proximity to the local swimming, diving and water polo clubs, as well as a diving platform.

Directly behind the eastern shore is a registered campsite with 250 camping units, together with an apartment complex comprising villas and apartments officially classified in the two- to four-star category.

Over the past decade, significant investments have been made to enhance the tourist facilities around the lake. The area now features complete infrastructure, including two public toilet facilities (one located within the campsite), hot-water showers, a pedestrian and fitness trail encircling the entire lake, and night-time illumination, making the area suitable for evening walks and, during the summer season, night swimming.

Visitors can also enjoy restaurants, cafés serving desserts such as ice cream, pancakes and mini doughnuts, fast-food outlets, souvenir shops, a designated beach area with sun loungers and parasols available for hire, pedal boat rentals, as well as swimming and diving schools.

The lake regularly hosts a variety of water sports events, including water polo matches, sailing regattas and the Vidovdan Open Water Swimming Marathon.

Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy recreational angling on the lake, while throughout the summer season visitor safety is ensured by a professional lifeguard service operating throughout the day.

For younger visitors, cafés and a floating nightclub offer lively evening entertainment featuring popular singers and DJs.

Accommodation is available directly on the lakeshore in bungalows, apartments and the registered campsite.

In the immediate vicinity of the lake, visitors will also find tennis courts, a basketball court, and a park with a children’s playground.
