CAMPING & PICNIC AREA “TISA” – Zrenjanin

The Tisza River is the longest tributary of the Danube. It is 966 kilometers long and its basin encompasses 157,187 km2. Its spring is in the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine. The longest flow of the river belongs to Hungary and it flows in the Danube near Slankamen in Serbia. The Begej River flows in the Tisza River near Perlez, on the territory of Zrenjanin municipality. In part, Tisza represents the western administrative border of Zrenjanin municipality. Business and tourist potentials of this huge river in the Pannonia Plain enabled the construction of the ports and resorts designed for fishing and recreation at the river bank. The camp-site is located on the territory of Zrenjanin municipality, near Zabalj Bridge and a regional road, only 12 km from Zrenjanin and 36 km from Novi Sad. There is a neat swimming beach at the river bank, objects for accommodation, camp area and a marina.
