“The Danube, due to richness with fish, is the most attractive location for fishing. The coast is mostly rocky and accessible along its length (from 1356 to 1367 km of the Danube). Favorite courts on the Danube are: Dunavac (Golic), locks, pumping station, a weekend resort. Pike, carp, catfish, perch, asp, white fish, grass carp are fished.

The most visited is Golić (Golic Islet) by fishermen with its small T-shaped dams, as the location where the pike, asp and various types of white fish are primarily caught.

Fishermen from Odžaci and other municipalities on a daily basis, especially during the weekends, come to the coast of these water surfaces. All of 42km of this canal network, as it flows through the municipality of Odžaci, is suitable for fishing. However, the individual locations are emphasized where the fishermen are the most common: country triangle in Karavukovo and Odžaci, the lock on the canal between Odžaci and Serpski Miletić, gravel pits on the canal to Bački Gračac, runway in Odžaci, Lalić, Deronje and Serpski Miletić. During the year the Odžaci municipality canals and the Danube are overwhelmed by the sports fishermen who in numerous competitions tend to catch the best item.
