Čortanovci
Terrain description: the Danube bank at Čortanovci (1239-1235 kilometers) is accessible in its bigger part. There are many flooded trees and other natural obstacles giving skilled fishermen excellent conditions for fishing sport.

All fish species, especially the carp which is here considered to be one of the most valuable and most appreciated catches. The specimens from 2 to 5 kilos are mostly caught, and occasionally, a 10 and more kilos specimen can be caught.

The end of the summer and autumn months is the best time for fishing.

Beška
Terrain description: The Danube is the most accessible in its flow at Beška, so this area is very popular among sports fishermen. The terrain is diverse, the coast is partly sandy, partly gravelly and in some places the rocky obstacles could be encountered in the river stream.

Carp, pike, bream and especially perch are best to be caught in this terrain.

The best period for fishing is from July to October and the most convenient period for perch fishing is in early spring and the period from October to December.

Krčedin
Terrain description: The part of the river stream at Krčedin (1230 – 1220 km) is plentiful of small backwaters of the Danube river and the river islands, too, so the best grounds for fishing is easily reached by boats. The part in the neighborhood of Krcedin river isle, especially along the left bank, where the ground is waterlogged and marshy, represents one of the greatest natural fish hatcheries in the Danube in Serbia.

All fish species are convenient to be caught in this terrain, but it still represents a kingdom of pike and carp. Backwaters of the river and ponds are overgrown with dense vegetation so they are particularly suitable for these fish species.

The best time for fishing is the period from June to October.

Stari Slankamen
Terrain description: In its flow at Stari Slankamen, the Danube gets its largest left tributary the Tisa, thus the mouth of these two rivers is one of the richest areas in fish at the Danube.

All fish species are good to be caught- pike, perch, carp, all white fish species, as well as the massive Danube fish- catfish.

Jarkovci
Terrain description: Jarkovac Lake is about 3 km long, between 150 and 200 m wide and its average depth is from 4 to 5 m. The bottom is clean, without any bigger obstacles, there is water vegetation in some places near the coast.

Carp, bream, grass crap, Prussian crap and other white fish species are best to be caught.

In spring and from the end of summer to the beginning of winter is the best period for fishing on this terrain.

Note: For this lake you need the unique fishing license from the territory of Vojvodina, issued by the Fishing Association of Vojvodina. Fishermen who do not have this license can buy daily license from the lake keeper.
