THE HUNTING GROUND “BEGEJ” – Zrenjanin

Hunting Association “Zrenjanin” is one of the largest in Serbia as far as the hunting area and the number of hunters is concerned .It manages the hunting ground “Begej”, with a total area of ​​124,038 ha, of which 110,000 ha is hunting area.

Permanent cultivated species of wild animals in the hunting ground “Bega” are: roe deer, wild boar, rabbit, pheasant and partridge. The association owns and 67.5 ha of land, 6 ha of permanent depot and a usable hunting lodge area of ​​250 m2. Professional sector is managed by a hunting ground manager – an expert (V level of vocational skills) and the gamekeeper (III level of vocational skills). Hunting tourism is developed, in particular spring deer hunting, summer quail, collared doves, turtle -dove and pigeon hunting, autumn mallard hunting and winter wild spotted geese hunting.
