CONTEMPORARY GALLERY – Zrenjanin
The modern gallery of the art colony in Ečka was founded in 1958., at the biginning it’s work was pointed to the organization of the art colony in Ečka, but soon it exceeded this function and became one of the most prominent modern art galleries. In 1962. the Art colony and modern gallery became the institutions on their own, whose the first manager was famous painter from Zrenjanin and one of the founders of the art colony Tivadar Vanjek. Today it has the collection of about 2000 art works, and except the organization of the art colony, in it’s rooms on the Square of Sloboda there are about twenty thematic exhibitions and concerts of serious music annually.
