ETHNO HOUSE – Belo Blato

Belo Blato is located near the protected natural property of Carska bara (Imperial Marsh). In Banat region it is said that the village is located at the end of the world as if it is from all sides surrounded by water: the River Begej, Carska bara, lakes, fish pond. .. The village has the cleanest air and belongs to the first ecological protection zone. Ethno house was built by the locals, made of natural materials, the style is of the late 19th century and it was modeled after the oldest house in the village. Each resident, as a rule, speaks four languages and six languages are equally spoken in the village. They have their own tradition of handicrafts. In the house there is also one Slovakian room. The bed looks too narrow for two, but the message is clear. In the bed there were maize stalks remains, and pillows stuffed with feathers as well as the thick eiderdown coverlet. The warmth of Vojvodina in this area is irresistible.
