The oldest and the most important object in the village is the building of the Serbian Orthodox Church built in 1711. It is one of the oldest orthodox churches in Vojvodina built after the great movement of the people in 1690. and certainly the oldest church in Banat. It was made of bricks and covered with shingles, with half –curved vault, with three windows on the North and the South, an baroque iconostasis made in 1786., the work of Teodor Popović. The old iconostasis, from 1744., the work of Nedeljko Popović Šerban, today is placed in National Museum in Zrenjanin. Today iconostasis in this church was put in 1869., and is very old and was made by the unknown artist. As the church is one of the oldest kept monuments of the culture in this area and because of it’s great historical value it was declared as the historical monument and it is under the protection of state. The church treasury has many rare pieces of old forged silver. In the church yard there are a few very old tomb monuments which were put on the tombs of the priests who have worked in this church.
