“LAZA KOSTIĆ” CULTURAL CENTER – Sombor

Since its founding, the Cultural Center “Laza Kostić” has been tasked with providing conditions for the comprehensive development of culture and artistic creation. The Center organizes visual arts programs, literary and music-theater programs, amateur cultural activities, and publishing projects. The primary goal of each program segment is to establish a balance between outstanding achievements in specific areas of cultural creation, the presumed audience demand for such content, and the promotion of values emerging within the Sombor municipality.

Cultural Center “Laza Kostić” has organized concerts by Jovan Kolundžija, Ivan Tasovac, Tatjana Olujić, Marina Arsenijević, Branko Parlić, Carla Ponten, Jana Rise Phillips, Slavko Nikolić, and gala concerts featuring ballet stars. As part of its literary evenings, the Center has hosted book promotions by academician Nikola Milošević, academician Matija Bećković, Svetlana Velmar-Janković, Dobrica Erić, and others. In its publishing activities, the Cultural Center has issued books by Mika Nastasić, Mihajlo Milošević, Vidosava Raič, Ksenija Đorđević, and the monograph Sombor – Illustrated Chronicle by Milan Vojnović.

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
