CITY LIBRARY – Vršac
The City Public and School Library was founded in 1887 by Felix Mileker. The Vršac City Library is one of the oldest in the country, as it continued the work of the Serbian Casino (1838) and the Serbian Reading Room (1840).
Its initial collection of forty thousand books has grown over the years to more than 200,000 works. The library is also included in the COBISS central electronic catalogue system, making its holdings accessible to the widest range of users.
