The Battle of Senta:

In 1697, the Turks launched a military campaign to regain lost territories. However, on September 11, 1697, they suffered a heavy defeat at Senta at the hands of the Christian army led by the famous Eugene of Savoy. In memory of this event, significant for the Christian world and Europe, the Memorial of the Battle of Senta was erected on the banks of the Tisa River.
