GALLERY OF ZUZKA MEDVEDOVA – Bački Petrovac

GALLERY OF ZUZKA MEDVEDOVA – Bački Petrovac

Gallery is named after the first Slovak academic artist from Bački Petrovac, Zuzka Medveđová (1897–1985), who left the majority of her works to the town and its people. Since its founding in 1989, the gallery has hosted over 125 solo, group, retrospective, jubilee, and memorial exhibitions.

Since 1991, the gallery has organized the most significant visual arts event in the region—the Biennale of Slovak Visual Artists in Serbia—showcasing works by Slovak academic artists. Additionally, since 2010, the gallery has hosted the Biennale of Slovak Amateur Artists. The biennale also includes a conference on Slovak visual art in Serbia.
