CULTURAL CENTER RUMA – Ruma

The cultural centre of Ruma started with work on October, 10th 1985. in new- built, modern object of 3600m2 full surface. It’s work is based on organization of scenes, film, musical, art and literal program.
Capacity:

• Big room(theatrical and film) with the capacity of 700 seats, circled scene and space for the orchestra. The surface of the scene is 400 m2 so there could be played chamber and big opera shows.


• Small room with the capacity of 262 seats, regular film projections every day in two evening shows.


• Big hall: organizing the art exhibitions, promotions, literature evenings and café cinema.


• Conference hall with the capacity of 80 seats, there are tribunes, lectures, meetings, symposiums and presentations organized.


• Disco club – regular disco nights, it could be hired for birthday parties and other celebrations.

Apart from the tours of professional art production in Cultural centre successfully work and perform amateur cultural- art associations:

• The City Theatre of Ruma


• The City Mixed Choir “ Branimir Marković”


• The Assemble of National games and songs “ Branko Radičević”


• The City Tamburitza Orchestra “ Branko Radičević”


• Vocally instrumental ethnic-assemble “ Vrelo”

Extremely important are provincial and republic amateur musical festivals which are organized by Cultural centre in cooperation with the Community Government of Ruma and the Amateur Association of Vojvodina: The Festival of Musical Associations of Vojvodina, the Festival of Tamburitza Orchestras of Serbia, the Theatre Trema Fest in the cooperation with the City Theatre of Ruma.
Apart from the mentioned the Cultural centre organizes the community festivals of recital, musical and drama achievements, zone festival of art achievements and other cultural- artistic as well as other programs.
