CITY THEATRE RUMA – Ruma

City Theatre Ruma was founded in 1994 with the goal of engaging in creative activities in the field of culture. Initially, it maintained a classical approach to theater, but in response to contemporary trends—especially after the founding of TREMA FEST in 1998—it shifted focus and expanded its activities to include all areas of civic initiatives.

The theatre brings together around 100 active members across six sections, collaborates on the education of its artistic leaders, has launched several workshops, and works with target groups on topics of broader significance for the local community.

Every year in March, the theatre organizes, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Culture and Education, the Ruma Municipal Assembly, and the Ruma Cultural Center, the invitational festival of original projects TREMA FEST, a theatrical review promoting European multicultural action.
