Vinery “Salaksija“is a modern winery located on Fruška Gora, which leans on the long-lasting tradition of Fruška Gora. It was established in 2009. It is located in Stari Rakovac, 12km from Novi Sad, nearby the Medieval Monastery Rakovac, where wine was made a long time ago.
Vinery “Salaksija“ is planned in such a way so that it suits modern tourist’s needs. On 700 square meters, the Vinery “Salaksija“opened a big testing hall, a wine shop and a beautiful garden surrounded by a thick forest. Tourists can pay a visit any time, they can find out more about winemaking, they can test top quality wines from our cellar and they can try some local specialities of Vojvodina cuisine. On the wine list of the cellar “Salaksija“, there are Italian Riesling, Rain Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Salaxia Rose and specific blends.
