THE WINERY ALEKS – Sremski Karlovci

The Winery Aleks was found in 1990. and produces wine and brandy. The plants in a vineyard on Banstol date from the ’30s of the last century. The production of grape, wine and brandy was for a large family and it was sold in the neighbourhood. By the founding of “Winery Aleks” we raised that production on a higher level, we make more qualitative products and we are out the frames of our plants, so we are obliged to buy more grapes and fruits. It is planned to enlarge the plants of grapes and frits on our 5 ha. In our productive program, for now, we have white wine “Italian Riesling”, and “Game” which we still sell in an old fashioned way, in your own bottles. When we add some special ingredients to these two wines and leave it to stay in the pro-chrome cisterns for a while, according to Karlovci recipes we make white and red “Bermet”. In our production program, we also have brandies ”loza”, “kleka”, “apple”, “plum”, “cognac”, “quince”, “apricot”, and sour liqueur “Ljilja`s Leaf”. With our qualitative products, we reached the very peak of the best, and we can demonstrate it by many diplomas on Fairs abroad and in our country as well.
