The Orthodox Church of the Synaxis of the Holy Apostles is situated alongside the town promenade, directly on the banks of the Danube. Construction of the church began in 1998. This magnificent Orthodox church was built in keeping with the traditions of old Serbian ecclesiastical architecture and the renowned Serbo-Byzantine style. It was constructed using silicate bricks produced in Apatin and adorned with beautiful frescoes created by master fresco painters. A visit to this sacred site is a must for anyone visiting Apatin, offering a unique experience and magnificent views of both the church and the Danube.
