CHURCH OF THE ASSUMPTION OD MARY – Apatin

Church of the Assumption of Mary dates from the eighteenth century, its construction started in the 1798th year. It is situated in the Srpskih vladara Street.This church is the typical example of so called Danube Baroque style. Its Baroque enterior and famous Black Madonna of Apatin have been very attractive whitnesses of German colonization from the half of the XVIII century. During the holidays, the Mass attracts a large number of worshipers.
