CHURCH OF THE HOLY FATHER NIKOLAI – Surduk
The first church was built in Surduk in 1746, but it became too small for the needs of its congregation. On the day of celebration of the ‘Prenos mostiju Svetog Oca Nikolaja’ in 1816, people began to collect donations for the construction of a new, bigger church which was soon built and consecrated in 1818. The church is in the Baroque style and it owns an important collection of service books dating from the18th and 19th centuries.
