The Krivac agritourism farm is located in the eponymous settlement, which stretches from Sremski Karlovci to Banstol, at the meeting point of Mt. Fruška Gora and the winding course of the Danube.
The large yard is surrounded by a forest and has an impressive view of the Danube, it is visually isolated from the surroundings, and provides complete peace and a feeling of separation from the urban environment. In the central part of the property there is a villa from 1959, in which all rooms face the river.
The Krivac household operates by respecting the principles of sustainable development and preservation of local traditions, and is a place where, in addition to enjoying nature, the view of the Danube and local food from Vojvodina, guests can see the implementation of the minimum-waste concept in practice.
In the local community, this household is recognized as a Food Hub, that is, a place where surplus donated fresh food such as fruit, vegetables, bread, pastry, herbs and medicinal herbs, cheese and wine will be used to create delicious souvenirs, packed in glass packaging and sealed with fabrics that, instead of being thrown away, have been given a new lease of life. The souvenirs that are produced in this household are tasty, healthy, creatively designed and decorated, and are created by doing business according to the circular economy model.
Non-returnable glass packaging donated by local restaurateurs and community members is used for product packaging, as well as fabrics, from which decorations, handbags, aprons, totes and other items that have a new use value are made by hand.
The Krivac household is the perfect place for family get-togethers, private celebrations, corporate events, coworking and creative workshops. Food for guests is prepared on the spot, in the warmer part of the year and outdoors, in a traditional way typical of Vojvodina cuisine. Guests can participate in the process of canning, preparation of cooked dishes, savory and sweet pastries, spice mixes and specialties that are characteristic of the climate of Vojvodina and Sremski Karlovci.
As the household avoids the use of plastic, aluminum packaging and industrial products, guests are served cooked meals made from locally produced ingredients, homemade juices, Sremski Karlovci wines, homemade soda and draft craft beer.
On weekends, picnic lunches, culinary and art workshops for children and adults, yoga classes, Karlovci wine and brandy tastings are organized, and on request, walking tours around Sremski Karlovci, Mt. Fruška Gora, visits to the Fruška Gora monasteries and wineries, in cooperation with licensed local guides.
The accommodation capacity of the Krivac household is 4-6 people, while in the immediate vicinity there is a hospitality facility with a larger capacity and two swimming pools, which allows comfortable accommodation for a large number of guests who come for education sessions and organized events.
The villa is decorated in a rustic style, has two double bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom, two toilets, central heating, wi-fi connection and a large parking lot in the yard.
