WINERY “ŠIJAČKI” – Banoštor

WINERY “ŠIJAČKI” – Banoštor

The winery of the Šijački family is located in the Srem village of Banoštor, which is located about 30 kilometres from Novi Sad, in the municipality of Beocin.

Currently, about 70,000 litres of wine are produced from own grapes from 13.5 hectares of vineyards on the northern slopes of Fruška gora, where rows of Riesling Italian and Rhine, Chardonnay, Neoplanta, Merlot, Frankovka, Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat Hamburg are intertwined.

The red wine from sedusa, an autochthonous variety that is a part of the historical heritage of the wine-growing Fruška gora and is grown only in the vineyards of the Šijački family, stands out.

In addition to wine tasting, you can enjoy the view of the Danube, as the winery is located on the river coast.

Prior notice is required for tourist visits.
