THE TEMPLE OF SAINT PARASCHEVA OF THE BALKANS – Nova Pazova
The Church is a former building of the Evangelical Church. In 1946 it was consecrated as a Serbian Orthodox church, the Church of The Coming of the Holy Spirit to the Apostles. In 2000 the bishop of Srem, Bishop Vasilije, decided to change the dedication of this church which then became the church of the Holy Mother Petka-Paraskeva.
In 2004, construction of a new church began on another site but it is still not finished. It is interesting that this new church is being built according to a project used to build another new church in Banja Luka.
