THE SPORTS IN ŽITIŠTE
The settled place Žitište and its sport complex “Dragan Vučurević -Vučko” has two football pitches, one is the main and the second is accessory, and the locker room which gives the all conditions the sportsmen need. As the segment of this complex on the open air are courts for handball, basketball, volleyball and small football. Near by the sport complex is “Grandpa Jocko” park with the excellent trim track, so this park can serve as the ideal place for the recreation and for the relax of the sportsman. In the primary school “Saint Sava” there is the sports hall where it is possible to play basketball and volleyball. This hall can accept the sportsmen of combat sports and where were organized many national competitions in karate.
