THE ETHNO HOUSE – Maradik

The ethno house, which is situated exactly between Novi Sad and Belgrade, is often visited by tourist groups, pre-school and school children. The ethno house is an earth-work built 150 years ago, and all the house-fittings are from 50 to 100 years old. Handmade needlework is especially authentic. In the yard, there is some old agricultural machinery.

In the garden there are trees which most usually grow in Fruška Gora, wonderful flowers, and a huge dining area used for sitting and talking, dining, resting, or arranged to attend to some ethnic customs of local people. The performances of the old way of life bring back to Maradik children and adults. The visits to the surroundings are organized as well, such as the wine tour, the monastery tour, or the fishing on the lakes of Fruška Gora.

The ethno house is opened on the group demand, with the required announcement of the arrival.
