CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL CENTRE “VUK KARADŽIĆ” – Plandište

The Cultural and Educational Center “Vuk Karadžić” in Plandište is a basic cultural institution whose work is guided by three strategic goals: engagement, creativity, and the dissemination of artistic and cultural activities of the local community on a non-profit basis.
The Cultural and Educational Center (CEC) was established on April 3, 1997, with a modest initial scope of activities, but quickly expanded its work significantly. Today, its programs are organized into the following areas: External Programs; Cultural and Educational Programs; Music and Stage Programs; Film Programs; Visual Arts Programs (art programs); Literary Programs; and Cultural Heritage Programs.
The Center features a modern hall for film screenings and various programs, with a stage, stalls, and balcony, accommodating 347 seats, as well as a smaller hall suitable for workshops, entertainment events, and other public or private gatherings.
