BUKINSKI RIT – Mladenovo

Fishing area belongs to the Special Nature Reserve “Karadjordjevo” which stretches from Mladenovo with Lovrenac as its beginning until Karađorđvo where at Šarengrad isle, so-called “Old Danube”, the former bed of the river, flows into the present bed of the Danube.

A protected natural area “Karadjordjevo”, which is the official name for the entire range of Bukinski marsh, is managed by the Military Institution “Karadjordjevo”.

According to current data, Lovrenac is recorded as the largest pike hatchery in the Danube basin. Besides pike throughout the year carp is successfully caught, as well as crucian carp, roach, bream and more often the asp.

The most important place alongside Lovrenac for pike fishing is a Široka bara (Wide pond) and big carp, crucian carp and roach are caught successfully.

The price of permit is 1,500 dinars.
