BUKINSKI RIT – Mladenovo

The fishing area is part of the “Karađorđevo” Special Nature Reserve, which stretches from Mladenovo, where it begins at Lovrenac, all the way to Karađorđevo. Near Šarengradska Ada, the so-called “Old Danube”, the former riverbed of the Danube, flows into the river’s present-day course.

The protected natural area of “Karađorđevo”, the official name for the entire Bukinski Rit area, is managed by the “Karađorđevo” Military Institution.

According to current records, Lovrenac is recognised as the largest pike spawning ground in the Danube basin. In addition to pike, anglers can successfully fish for carp, Prussian carp, rudd, bream and, increasingly, asp throughout the year.

Alongside Lovrenac, Široka Bara is one of the most important pike-fishing spots in the area. Large carp, as well as Prussian carp and rudd, can also be caught here.

The fishing permit costs RSD 1,500.
