Vojvodina is known as a region where a large number of events are held annually, so the upcoming winter months in Vojvodina bring many events. Municipalities and cities throughout Vojvodina are in a hurry to prepare for the upcoming holidays, and if you go to the north of Serbia in the next period, you will feel the festive atmosphere.
If you decide to visit the Banat, you will be greeted by the New Year’s Magic Street in Pancevo, which includes the sale of home-made products, souvenirs, an entertainment program and a skating rink for the youngest. A skating rink awaits in the pedestrian zone in Vršac at the main square (Gradski trg), while a New Year’s fair is planned in Zrenjanin. Novi Bečej is organizing the New Year’s Bazaar, with the part of the proceeds going to humanitarian causes. If you go further north to Kikinda, you will be greeted by the “Wish Box” where the kids write their wishes to Santa.
If you are on your way to the Bačka, you will be able to enjoy the Winter Fair in Bačka Topola, which will be held in the city centre, where local producers will present home-made products, while on the last day of this year, Santa Claus will be giving treats to children. The Winter Magic will come to life in Sombor in December, which includes a sales segment and music and entertainment program. The event “New Year’s Warm-up” will be organized in Bač, the New Year’s mini fair and the Shopping Night in Temerin, the new event “Wine Evening”, as well as the skating rink in the centre of Temerin too. The City of Novi Sad, located partly in the Bačka, partly in the Srem, is preparing many events for visitors in the winter months. Some of them are Zimzoland, which is held on the main city square (Trg slobode), the Isidor Bajić Memorial, Christmas Magic, Christmas and New Year’s concerts, and the Ice Forest in the Danube Park.
The Srem is also ready to welcome the New Year’s holidays, Christmas Street is being organized in Sremska Mitrovica, New Year’s Magic in Indjija, and New Year’s Bazaar is planned in Irig.
The events that will be held in the following period will be in line with the epidemiological conditions, while respecting all the prescribed measures.
