According to the official data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, the first four months of 2026 saw a significant increase of 10.5% in the total number of tourist arrivals in AP Vojvodina, reaching 192,729 arrivals compared to the same period last year. The number of domestic tourist arrivals increased by 11% (107,213 arrivals), while international tourist arrivals rose by 9.8% (85,516 arrivals).
Between January and the end of April 2026, the total number of overnight stays increased by 9.3%, reaching 536,937 overnight stays compared to the same period in 2025. During this period, overnight stays by domestic tourists grew by 7.3% (261,194 overnight stays), while overnight stays by international tourists recorded an impressive increase of 11.3% (275,743 overnight stays).
The most visited cities during the first four months of the year were Novi Sad, which recorded a 14.9% increase in tourist arrivals, and Subotica, with a 16.2% increase. Fruška Gora registered a 9% increase in tourist traffic compared to the same period last year, while Vrdnik Spa was the most visited spa destination, recording a 15.6% increase in tourist arrivals.
The average length of stay of tourists in AP Vojvodina was 2.8 days.
