The event “Experience Summer in Serbia”, which brought together more than 50 local tourism organizations from across the country, was held at Kalemegdan Fortress on June 20. Its aim was to introduce the citizens and visitors of Belgrade to Serbia’s most attractive tourist destinations, natural wonders, cultural and historical heritage, and gastronomic offerings.
The Director of the National Tourism Organisation of Serbia, Maria Labović, emphasized that the event provided a unique opportunity for visitors to discover various regions of Serbia in one place and find inspiration for their summer holidays.
In addition to presentations of tourism products and attractions from destinations across the country, visitors were also able to learn more about upcoming major events of significance for Serbia, including Wine Vision by Open Balkan and EXPO 2027.
Particular attention was drawn to the gastronomy and wine-and-rakija zone, where Vojvodina was represented by local producers. Visitors had the opportunity to sample products from the Braća Krstić Distillery, as well as traditional pastries presented by Ceca Sremica.
The “Experience Summer in Serbia” event once again showcased the richness and diversity of Serbia’s tourism offer, confirming that the country provides experiences for a wide range of interests—from active holidays and nature-based tourism to cultural routes, gastronomic experiences, and wine tourism.
