The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, together with its co-exhibitors from the tourism organizations of Vojvodina cities – Subotica and Vršac, as well as guests from the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, the Deliblato Sands Cluster and the Tourism Organization of Niš, presented the entire tourist offer of AP Vojvodina on August 23, 2021 in Ljubljana, as well as in Koper on August 24, 2021. The offer was again focused on tourists who prefer active holidays, walks, hiking, cycling, as well as enogastronomic tourism.
The Days of Vojvodina in Slovenia were held for the third time in a row, and the promotion of Vojvodina was completed by the organization of the Vojvodina Evening on Monday, August 23, 2021 in the congress hall of the Hotel Slon in Ljubljana, which attracted a lot of attention from the Slovenian public. In the presence of the representative of the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina – Mr. Branislav Mamić, who greeted those present, and a large number of Slovenian media representatives, the director of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, Nataša Pavlović PhD, said in her address that tourists from Slovenia are at the top in the number of arrivals in Vojvodina and expressed her belief that this type of promotion is an ideal opportunity for all potential guests from Ljubljana and the whole of Slovenia to be additionally informed about the tourist attractions of Vojvodina and thus motivated for an even more massive arrival. Along with the distribution of propaganda material, the guests were shown a promotional film of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina – “The Vojvodina Lifestyle”. Along with the music of the tamburitza orchestra From Bach to Sevdah from Novi Sad, Vojvodina wines and other gastronomic specialties, with face to face contact, the media reps, travel agencies and specialized associations from Slovenia were presented all that Vojvodina is known and attractive to tourists for.
The importance of tourists from Slovenia for the tourism of AP Vojvodina is also evidenced by the data of the Statistics Office of the Republic of Serbia, according to which in 2020, Vojvodina was mostly visited by foreign tourists from countries in the region. Out of the total number of foreign tourists, tourists from Slovenia take the 4th place with a share of 4.37%.
