The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina hosted the representatives of the A.R.T. PR agency from Austria, who visited Vojvodina in the period from 23 to 26 August.
During the 4 days of their stay, they visited a large number of locations and got acquainted with the diverse tourism offer of Vojvodina. On the first day, with the support of the Museum of the City of Novi Sad and the Tourism Organization of the City of Novi Sad, they visited the exhibition “Mileva: We are a Rock” and the old city center, where they learned about the history of Novi Sad and the tourism offer of the most visited tourist destination in Vojvodina.
During the second day, with the support of the Tourism Organization of Sremski Karlovci, they visited the Sremski Karlovci Gymnasium, the Cathedral Church of St. Nicholas, the Treasury and the Patriarch’s Palace, and thanks to the Museum of Beekeeping of the Živanović family, the guests had the opportunity to enjoy tasting honey and wine, especially Bermet as an authentic wine from this area. Also, they attended a workshop on making Gugelhupf, a traditionally baked in Sremski Karlovci.
After that, they continued to Bačinci and the first wine hotel in Serbia – the Dve Kule, and ended the second day of their stay with a visit to the Sirmium Imperial Palace and the Wine Park festival with the support of the Tourism Organization of the City of Sremska Mitrovica.
On the third day of their stay, they visited the Memorial House of Sava Šumanović in Šid, got acquainted with the artistic work of Ilija Bašičević Bosilj, then visited the Deurić Winery, the Mala Remeta Monastery and visited the Fruškogorska Lugarnica, a traditional rural household.
At the end of their stay, they were guests of the Movenpick Fruške Terme in Vrdnik, where they had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the luxury tourism offer of Vrdnik.
