Ferien-Messe, the largest vacation, travel and entertainment fair in Austria will be held from March 14 to 17 this year, in Vienna. The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina is taking part at the mentioned fair in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, while the Tourism Organizations of Serbia, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Vršac, Irig, Sombor, Veliko Gradište, as well as the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, EXPO Belgrade 2027, Port Management Agency, Tour de Fruška, Guarantee Fund of Vojvodina, Development Fund of AP Vojvodina, Mövenpick Resort & Spa Fruške terme and Mona Plaza hotels, Kontiki Travel tourist agency and Blue Ocean Navigator digital transformation center, will be participating at a joint stand. The Tourism organization of Vojvodina, in addition to presenting the entire set of tourism products and services of the Province, will promote the upcoming Fruška gora Wine Walk within the aforementioned fair. According to the data of the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, 8,498 arrivals of visitors from Austria were registered in Vojvodina in 2023, which represents an increase of 5.51% compared to 2022, while the number of overnight stays by Austrian tourists was 20,007. The average length of tourist stays was 2.4 days in the previous year.
