Tourist turnover in Vojvodina in the first quarter of 2026.

According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, tourist turnover in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina during the first three months of 2026 shows stable and continuous growth, confirming the positive trend observed at the beginning of the year.

In the period January–March 2026, the number of tourist arrivals and overnight stays in Vojvodina increased compared to the same period of the previous year. In just the first three months, arrivals grew by approximately 11.6% (130,601 arrivals), while overnight stays rose by 11.9% (381,612 overnight stays), indicating longer stays and strengthening the destination’s attractiveness.

At the provincial level, the most visited destinations remain urban and spa centers. Novi Sad stands out as the leading destination, with a significant increase in arrivals (17.3%) and overnight stays (17%), while Subotica and the spa of Vrdnik are among the most popular locations for holidays and short breaks. Natural destinations such as Fruška Gora are also gaining popularity (with a 12.4% increase in arrivals), attracting visitors throughout the year.

The structure of tourists shows a balanced ratio of domestic and foreign guests, with a noticeable increase in interest from international visitors.
