The Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina participated in the regional conference “AI Tourism Summit 2026,” dedicated to the application of artificial intelligence in tourism, held on 3 June at the Zepter Hotel in Belgrade. The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia and organized by the Spektar Centre.

The conference brought together leading experts, representatives of the tourism industry, technology and IT companies, marketing agencies, tourism organizations, and institutions from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience on the transformation of the tourism sector through the application of artificial intelligence.

The focus of the event was on topics shaping modern tourism – from the initial implementation of AI tools and improving operational efficiency, to service personalization, better understanding of contemporary traveler behavior, and optimization of promotional campaigns. Special emphasis was placed on the development of smart reception and concierge systems, as well as on the ways leading global players use data and artificial intelligence for strategic decision-making.

The conference was opened by the Assistant Minister of Tourism and Youth of the Republic of Serbia, Višnja Rakić, while three thematic panels discussed key aspects of the digital transformation of tourism: the impact of artificial intelligence on the travel industry and a new era of tourism development, the application of AI in tourism marketing and content creation for destination promotion and communication with tourists, and the transition from innovation to profit through the use of AI technologies in tourism.

As part of the conference, the Director of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina gave statements to the media, emphasizing the importance of monitoring modern technological trends and applying innovative solutions in order to improve the promotion and competitiveness of Vojvodina’s tourism offer on both domestic and international markets.

By participating in this event, the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina once again confirms its commitment to digital transformation and strategic tourism development, with the aim of creating a modern, competitive, and sustainable tourism product.
