TOURISM ORGANIZATION OF VOJVODINA PARTICIPATED IN CELEBRATING WORLD TOURISM DAY

The Tourism Organization of Vojvodina presented Vojvodina as an attractive tourist destination within World Tourism Day on Ada Ciganlija. The entire tourist offer of AP Vojvodina was presented to the visitors through brochures: “Gastronomic Vojvodina”, “Wine Routes of Vojvodina”, “Active Vacation in Vojvodina”, “Short Vacations in Vojvodina”, “Vojvodina for Gen Z”, “Vojvodina Four Seasons”, “Spiritual Treasure of Vojvodina”, “Cycling and Camps in Vojvodina”, “Vojvodina Symphony of Nature and Culture”. Within the stand of the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina, in addition to the tourist offer, authentic Vojvodina gastronomy was presented (Krancla – Curug, “Deliblatska pescara” Cluster), as well as quality wines and brandies from this area ( “Kalpak” Distillery – Vrbas, “Tatalovic” Winery – Vrsac) . Visitors also had the opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the tamburitza orchestra “From Bach to Sevdah”.
The main organizers of the event are the public company Ada Ciganlija, City of Belgrade, IMPEV, while in addition to the Tourism Organization of Vojvodina and the Tourism Organization of Belgrade, the Tourism Organization of Western Serbia, the Danube Competence Center, Djerdap Travel, PC Gradske pijace, City Municipality of Cukarica and host PC Ada Ciganlija.
The message of the World Tourism Organization this year is #RestartTourism, which means that we need to work on the gradual easing of restrictive measures, in order to revive tourism. The theme of this year’s celebration of Tourism Day is “Tourism and Rural Development”.
