Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina Visits ”Čoka” Winery – New Directions for Cooperation in Wine Tourism Promotion

Representatives of the Vojvodina Tourism Organisation visited ”Čoka” Winery, where they learned about its rich history, long-standing winemaking tradition and business operations. Discussions also focused on opportunities to enhance the promotion of wine tourism and Vojvodina’s tourist offer.

During the tour of the winery, the hosts presented its heritage and development, as well as the importance of winemaking to the tourist offer of this part of Banat. With a tradition spanning more than a century, ”Čoka” Winery is an important part of Vojvodina’s wine heritage, where history, expertise and the culture of wine appreciation come together.

The visit continued with a meeting attended by representatives of Čoka Winery, the Director of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina, and representatives of the tourist organisations of Kikinda and the City of Novi Sad. Discussions focused on future avenues for cooperation, with particular emphasis on jointly promoting wine tourism and linking wine, gastronomy and cultural heritage with other tourist attractions in the region.

Bringing tourist organisations and businesses together is an important step towards creating a richer and more distinctive tourist offer. Wine tourism provides an opportunity to discover a destination in a different way — through local products, traditions, people and authentic experiences that leave visitors with lasting memories.

The agreed future directions for cooperation provide a foundation for further discussions and joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the promotion of wine tourism and further establishing Vojvodina as a destination offering a diverse range of experiences.
