Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina Holds Meeting with Local Tourism Organisations

At the Master Congress Centre of the Novi Sad Fair, a meeting was held between the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina and representatives of local tourism organisations from the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, with the support of the Provincial Secretariat for Economy and Tourism. The meeting was attended by representatives of 21 local tourism organisations, as well as members of the media.

The purpose of the meeting was to exchange information and define joint activities for the upcoming period, with a particular focus on promoting Vojvodina’s tourism offer on domestic, regional, and international markets. Discussions covered plans for the upcoming tourism season, joint participation in tourism fairs and events, regional promotional campaigns, and increasing the visibility of tourism products and experiences through digital communication channels and social media.

Dr. Nenad Ivanišević, Provincial Secretary for Economy and Tourism, emphasized the importance of synergy between the Provincial Secretariat, the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina, and local tourism organisations in presenting Vojvodina as a unified tourism destination. He highlighted that the results achieved during the first months of this year confirm the growth of tourist traffic and the strong return of tourism, expressing confidence in a successful tourism season ahead.

Acting Director of the Tourism Organisation of Vojvodina, Milivoj Kovačević, presented the organisation’s plans for the coming period, focusing on closer cooperation with local tourism organisations, strengthening joint promotional activities, and developing content that will further enhance the visibility of Vojvodina’s tourism offer.

In addition to the topics discussed, a number of issues important for the further development of the tourism sector in the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina were raised, including the improvement of tourism products and services, as well as the challenges currently facing the sector.
